Team Colours

We all chatted for a while within the Hall. I didn't listen much to what people was saying. I was charged up and ready to protect the wall and all that lies behind it. I felt like i was being let into some kind of secret. It was exiting.

When we left the hall the sun was on it's way down. The day had nearly come to an end. All the lads from our troop gathered together in the square and prepared to sort out the cash that was rewarded to us by King Tell. It seemed that only four of us were going to continue on to the wall. The others felt that they had done their bit. They would be there if the demons made their way back but this was not their scene. One of the lads wanted to join us but he felt his injuries were too much for him to continue. As he said this, an old lady and a young girl arrived on the scene. They must have been his family or something. The old lady said that she felt that our efforts had not been rewarded enough, and with that she had the young girl present us all with black blessed cloths to carry with us. These things were priceless so we all took them with great thanks.

It was decided that the reward from King tell would be divided evenly between the four lads that were to leave the troop and return to their homes. This would give them great riches to enjoy as thanks for their efforts. The rest of us would go to the Wall and continue on our adventure. We had earned enough from the looting so we were all content with this decision. With that injured and retired fighters left the scene, and the rest of us headed towards the transport.
