Ring the Bells

When we got to Leber we were taken back by it's ghostliness. It was empty... no signs of life at all. We got to the town center where Jay decided it would be a good idea to sound the town church's main bell. This would be a signal which could make the towns people realise that they could return to their homes. So we kind of split up. Jay and Buggy broke into the church and made their way up the tower to get the bells ringing, Ben and myself looted a house for more supplies and gold, and then climbed up onto its roof to allow our wounds to heal whilst looking over at the pleasant market square. The rest of the lads did similarly.

As I rested I realised that even though my life was at risk everytime we fought, and even though I was getting lucky and simply surviving. I did find it quite entertaining. I told Ben that I knew that it was time to return home now as we had effectively completed our task.... but I didn't wanna go back. I had far to much to learn out here. I had never had to make split second decisions which could bring about my end if I had failed. I had never been given a chance to live an adventure before.

As the hours moved on I thought about the ultimate warrior. What would they need to be damn near invincible on a battle field. What weopons would they use. As I considered this a hand full of people had arrived in the square from the next town. Jay had told them that it was all clear now and the people could return, so the handful promptly left the scene to spread the word.
