The Cube
The basic idea for this image was given to me in a pub by a certain Miss Williams. I remember promptly getting up and running home to get it done before the full idea escaped my mind.
Unfortunately a few days later i noticed the epic fail in this graphic. Everyone had the same idea about what was going on, but it wasn't what I was trying to say. On hind site if i had made it a sphere instead of a cube... it would have made much more sense.
There's lots going on in this one but i'll briefly run over the main ideas. The statement i wanted to make was: I dont feel like i'm part of any particular social group, I just kind of float from group to group doing different things. So unfortunately not "i'm sooo outside the box and you're all sooo uncreative" lol which is understandable. What else would you think this picture meant. Oh well.. lesson learned.
The Andre bit's saying that i've tried to do people a favour by showing them new groups and ways but most people are quite happy where they are, even if they constantly complain about it.
The Damian bit is saying that i'm actually happy with how I work socialy. Obviously.. right? :).. i know i know.. what an epic fail, but at the time it seemed great.
To be fair I know a million other ways to draw this and make it clearer, but you know the rules.. once it's done.. it's done. Maybe one day i'll do a Cube 2, and it'll be much clearer.
