3. Walk The Plank
It was halloween season and i figured the best title for this months challenge would be, The Darker Side. The words were set in a way that could help the most people bring something to the table. Be it a visually darker image, the bad guy in a film, or in my case, the darker side of my own mind. This is another fun filled bright and happy image with a sheer sinister and 'darker side'. It's also the first time ever that i'd brought all four conciences to the table within one image. After a huge oil painting containing all 4 I decided that they were ALL WRONG! lol and so I banished them from my armoury. So unfortunately for most this image will remain half explained. It still tells the basic story of a man booting this offending woman off his ship and potentially to her doom so the harsher and more important side of this story is still told. Anywho!! Back to the Kettering Artists Project!!
This image was about 'The Darker Side'. I interpreted it to be about the darker side of me as within the 30 days that I had to create it I was involved in a situation that brought the darker side out of me. There was a girl, she annoyed me a little, I walked away and took my anger out on a piece of paper. This was an image of self respect, and I felt sooo much better after doing it. I'm clever enough to disguise the actual girl with a totally new model but the story still tells the same. Now you all know the destructive side of me. The 'Darker Side'. See.. not all smiles :)
