This is the artwork that came out of a 14 day artwork project. I decided one day to draw 1 image everyday for 2 weeks which deliever the dominant thoughts for the day. I know what you're thinking.. easy... right? Well when you factor in that i work full time, and have a pretty eventful social life, these simple 3-4 hour images are very hard to get done. I had sleepless nights in the middle of the week on a few occasion and the story itself tilted my fragile little mind.
The plot
This story was taken offline back in 2008 because of the emotional inpact it had on the people around me. I've sworn never to put the story back online, but i figure that i can still share the images, and let the people attempt to work out what's going on, if they choose to.
This is a story about growing up. About changing face. About self respect and self control. I like to look back at the pictures because they were the introduction to my style. I beleive they hold perfectly the feel that i wanna give with my artwork. Fun to look at from a distance, but up close there's a dark undertone which delivers the real messages.
Also i felt that I had to pop these images back online. As i use elements from this story in a huge percentage of the artwork that i create to this day.
