Happy System Check
I've decided it's time to give out some useful information to the world which could help pick us all up as these days get colder and colder as we advance into winter.
ok... that sentence didn't go so smoothly but hey... moving on.
I'd like to give the people what I call the Happy Morning System Check. What is that?, I hear you ask. Well, it's a nice way to remember that things are all good in your world. It will be hard to do at first (as it's quite difficult to remember to do) but it will set you up nicely if you make it happen.
We've all been ill before right? Tight chest or irritating drippy nose or sore throat... yeah we've all had some of that. When we wake up in the morning we're like, 'oooooohhh no.... ill again... wow my life sucks when i'm ill.... i hate this irritating cold'.
When we get ill like this, we remember what it's like to be healthy and we miss it so very much. Well here's a little tip for you, to help brighten up your day. The next time you wake up. Have a little morning system check. Ask your self how you're feeling. Now i dont care whether you're skint, hung over, hugely stressed, ugly, mean, morbidly obese, have no limbs, had a bad dream, no sleep or a late night encounter with an 8 legged freak,.. whatever... the system check is not about that. The system check is a quick check to see if your body is ready for the day.
A good routine check is to ask yourself these questions:
Is my nose runny?
Do I have a cough?
Can I breathe?
Did I make it through the darkness of the night and come out alive?
If you answer yes to the first 2 and it's not resolved after a quick blow or throat clearing then i'm sorry to say that you may be a little ill... hopefully you wont die from this. I wish you the best of luck in your future.
If you answered no to those and yes to the next two then it's my pleasure to let you know that you have made it to another day, and you have passed the system check.
in which case...
Congratulations!!!!!! You're a winner :) Give yourself a clap and get on with your day knowing that you are All Systems Go!!!
To everyone else... I do hope that you get better and are all systems go tomorrow :)
Peace out x
