About The Designer
My name is Byron and I have been working within the design industry since 2003. That includes 5 years of print design and production at a high level with a company called Matrix Print consultants, and a couple of years of web and multimedia for a company called Seventy9. I 've always been interested in art and design so ever since I was little I would always return home to develop my skills further. I 'm very much self taught in all my artwork and design as I was brought into the industry from school after being noticed for my artistic skills at a young age.

About the Site
This is the 8th version of this ever-changing website. The first edition was made for my tournament paintball team back in 2004. It was a basic html website made by Damon Atkins, and it told te world about our team and the players. I had no skills in web back then but I was determined to learn so I got myself into flash and built a simple as2 website to take over the old site. it looked all fancy and had sounds when you rolled over buttons (oo laa laa) but if I 'm honest.. it wasn't that hot. The next edition was after I learned ever more flash. It introduced game videos and the scores from the seasons play. By the 4th edition it was flash imported into html with text pulled in from external sources (still the same look). The next was a full (black) html site introducing artwork and stories as well because the team had collapsed and I felt the domain still needed to be used.. After this I joined the Dartford Notorious (NK) and returned the site to flash. This time I went all out, creating a really fancy site that had updates for the teams international event scores. It also contained images from the events and included other teams as well as my own artwork and designs, and even a portfolio. Quite messy as a whole but it looked fancy. When I finished with NK I was getting quite into css, javascript, light and thick boxes, and with all these under my belt I created a new site dedicated to the artwork and design alone - almost completely writing off the paintball. Then, we had the 8th design. It was ultra simple now and I 'd taken away hundreds of images leaving you with just a few of my art projects.
And then it was time for a new look. It's been built this way as I 'm now getting into asp.net and sql so I needed a nice and basic frame to get me kick started. I have big plans for this so I need to get the layout right. It's a first attempt so lets see how it goes.
